Vitamin e oil for genital warts treatment

Apart from constituting an obvious hazard in one’s sex life, genital warts can be a very annoying condition that any infected person should strive to get rid of. Thankfully, apart from the standard medical procedures that can eliminate them, a lot of home remedies have also been developed. One of them, and a highly successful one at that, is based on the application of vitamin E oil for genital warts treatment.

This is a simple, easy to use and effective technique that is based on a natural ingredient, can save you the embarrassment of having to show your private area to others, and can make those warts disappear almost effortlessly. To make it work, all you need is some vitamin E oil, which is widely available in cosmetic stores, along with some cotton buds or cotton balls, and a few band aids.

Simply soak the cotton swabs or the cotton balls into vitamin E oil, rub it on the infected area and then cover it with an appropriately sized band aid. If using a cotton ball, strap it against the warts with a band aid or some surgical tape and leave it there until the next application. Apply the solution as required, three or four times a day, until your genital warts are eradicated.

For optimum results, it is recommended that after you rub the area with vitamin E oil, you also apply some fresh, crushed garlic, which has significant antiseptic and antibiotic properties.

Usually, the warts will begin to disappear after a week of application, but on occasion, they might take longer. Eventually, however, you should get rid of them. In any event though, you should remember that vitamin E oil treatment for genital warts does not combat the underlying cause of warts, which is the human papillomavirus (HPV). In other words, it will not, per se, prevent the reoccurrence of the issue, but can only fight the symptoms.

Lastly, we need to throw in a final word of caution. The application of vitamin E oil for genital warts treatment has been proven to be effective, but if it happens to cause excessive irritation, you should stop immediately and consult your doctor. The same applies in the event that you happen to be taking blood-thinning medication. Two drops of vitamin E oil are the equivalent of 200mg of digested vitamin e oil, and excess amounts of vitamin E may trigger exaggerated blood thinning with adverse results. If in doubt about vitamin E oil treatment for genital warts, consult your physician.
